Madison is now officially a Wildfire Firebird and had a great 1st day. She LOVES her teacher, Miss Johnson, and is especially excited to get to eat in the big lunchroom. 
We met up with all her neighborhood friends, Arden, Sydney, and Audrey, and walked to school. It was so precious to see them all walking together with their ginormous, empty backpacks on. I can't believe I now have a Kindergartner!! I am going to keep this post short and sweet because I am already tearing up just thinking about the day and the fact that she is leaving me again tomorrow!! Good luck Madison and I know you are going to have a fabulous year!

i almost started tearing up just reading that! i have been thinking about you guys lately and thinking i need to come for a visit. now i'm really gonna kick myself if she is at school ALL day long! i should've come before school started, what was i thinking! i guess there is always after school and saturdays, though right? i can't believe she is old enough to be a kindergartener, either! can you believe that she was just 3 when i started watching your girls?? weirded out. oh i miss you guys!! i'll call you!

Congratulations Madison!1 WHat a big girl! She is darling. I remember the first day of school for each of my boys--but especially my first! I remember crying as I walked to my car! IT is hard to leave your little one in a big school! Madison looks so cute in her little first day of school outfit!
