Adventures in Pinetop

About a month ago, we decided to squeeze in one last trip before the summer ended and were able to spend a week up at our cabin in Pinetop, AZ with TJ's parents and Chad and Michelle's family. It was great timing since Mackenzie was only a few weeks old and we were so home bound in Phoenix anyway. The kids absolutely love it up there and we just let them run around outside all day and then hosed them off at night. It is seriously great and they get to have outdoor adventures that they would never get in 110 degree weather in Phoenix. Here are the top ten highlights from our week spent in Pinetop:

1o. Getting baby Mackenzie all dolled up to go to church for the 1st time.
Only 2 1/2 weeks old
9. Riding bikes outside without becoming severely dehydrated like at home.
8. Making multiple trips to Walmart to get more and more crafts to entertain the kids...here they are painting rocks. It seriously kept them busy for hours, priceless!
7. Hours and hours of "playing house" with cousins...they are constantly pretending and talking in valley-girl voices. The girls are wearing old tie-dye shirts that TJ, Michelle, and David use to wear up at their cabin when growing up.
6. ATV rides with Uncle TJ. The kids were lining up for their chance to ride and squealed the whole time! Madison and Julia
Justin and Cali
5. Bonding time with "sissy."

Best friends for life...
4. Baking biscuits with Grandma Candace, after being hosed off, of course!
3. Photo shoot in the new tie-dye shirts that we made... Even Grandma Candace made a matching shirt!
2. Free pony rides (It sure looked like a horse to me though)

1. Doing Yoga with Uncle Chad...I believe this is the reverse triangle pose and then he ended the session with a little meditation and chanting. Namaste Uncle Chad!

I have to agree with Hilary... the yoga pictures are priceless!! I'm so jealous you got to go play in some nice weather... Oh ya and the baby looked ADORABLE for her first day at church! Would I expect anything less?? I think not.
