Third times a charm, right?! I think I am ready for this, a face full of excitement and extreme nervousness...can you tell?
After about 7 hours of labor, Mackenzie arrived as healthy as can be. My heart always stops until I hear that first little cry...pure joy! When she came out, they immediately laid her on my chest and she fell right asleep. Hopefully this means she is going to be my mellow baby. So far, she is just as sweet as can be and a true miracle.
She weighed in at 7lbs 6 oz and 20 inches long. She seems like such a little peanut, but is my biggest baby so far.

Right after we were moved up to my recovery room, I had two special visitors come who had been waiting to meet their little sissy for a VERY long time...they came dressed in PJs and all!
The NEW and IMPROVED Hazar family...
Cali was so funny with all her questions...she asked me if we were really going to keep the baby and then asked me if I was sure that the baby was a girl, not a boy. She also wanted to do an exam my tummy.
Madison is SO sweet with the baby and already wants to hold her all the time. If anyone else is holding her, she gets a little protective and wants her back immediately. She is taking her role as the big sister VERY seriously...
Cali, not so much...She is still "in training."
Mackenzie finally got her first bath and is ready for a good night sleep...hopefully!

Day 2: Mommy and me

Thankfully, we were able to leave the hospital early, just a little after she was 24 hours old and I couldn't have been more ready to take my daughter home and sleep in my own bed again. Mackenzie is all tucked in her car seat and ready for the monumental car ride home.
Welcome home Mackenzie!
Off to sleep in her bassinet...
I feel so blessed to be her mother and I can't believe Heavenly Father sent us another angel as a daughter! The whole experience of having a baby is an absolute miracle and I am blown away by it each time. I couldn't be happier and there is nothing better then holding a newborn baby so fresh from Heaven.

Congratulations Carrie and TJ! Melanie showed us pictures at her house, but I couldn't help coming home and looking at baby Mackenzie again at home. What a little doll! I'm glad everything went so well. Melanie told me the day you were induced, so you were in my thoughts all day. Your big girls are so pretty, too.
