This is what happens when mommy works out at home....

This morning I decided to use my elliptical machine at home instead of dragging the kids to the gym like usual. Unfortunately this left Cali unsupervised and it suddenly dawned on me that it was VERY quiet. I went to go find her and the bathroom door was shut and locked...NOT A GOOD SIGN. When I finally got it unlocked, this is what I found.....

A mother's nightmare!

I asked her what she was thinking and she told me she was just trying to "look pretty" and then followed it up with, "Can I still stay in this family?". Oh well, I guess hair does grow back eventually and it will make for a good story to tell at her wedding.

This gene must run in my family because my brother Marc gave my other brother, Brad, a similar haircut when they were younger!

She looks like she feels really bad about it huh?! I can hardly stand to look at her. In case you can't tell, she cut a chunk out of the side of her hair....I wish Nabby was here to fix this!

I think every kid has got to go through the barber stage. She's totally sporting the newest retro, asymmetrical hair style!! Cute!

When I was little I decided I didn't want bangs anymore and I went into the bathroom and cut my bangs off at the roots. Imagine my mom's pleasant surprise.

That is funny...and sad! What a little stinker, but a darling one for sure! She looks cute with her new haircut and sweet little smile in that last picture.
