This weekend Madison had her first official dance competition. She is in the Sunbeams class at her dance studio, which is their first little "company" team. It was pretty amusing but the girls looked so cute and little up on that big stage, that I honestly got a little emotional watching. They performed a jazz routine to "I Love Lucy" and actually took first place in their division (I am not quite sure how many were in her division, but we will take it!). She was so excited to get a trophy and a ribbon and really enjoyed performing. It was a long day waiting for the awards ceremony, but well worth it! We are so proud of you Madison!

Madison gets to take dance with her cousin and best friend, Julia, which is so fun for them. I am so glad that they get to share these experiences together!

i love those outfits. you will never need to buy halloween costumes again. i wish i could see them dance. i bet it was so cute.
how fun that it was to i love lucy! i love those outfits, they're darling! and so were both madison and cali's halloween costumes. i just have to tell you i missed you and your girls so much the other day i almost started to cry! i need to come visit! we're in utah for thanksgiving right now, but i'll have to give you a call when i'm back in town.
Oh--I wish so badly I lived close and could come to her performances!! I would LOVE it!! She looks so darling! Way to go Madi!! I love you!
