The first annual LOVE SHACK REUNION took place at my house on the weekend of November 7-9th! For those of you who aren't familiar with the term "Love Shack," it is the silly name me and my college roommates gave ourselves when we moved into our first house at BYU. Six girls all under one roof...hence the name "love shack." Anyway, we finally decided to make it a tradition to get together once a year and it only took us about 8 years to pull it off. The girls, Amy Hirschi (Perkins), Becca Danguy (Long), Michele Drewery (Tingey), and the Texas Twiners, Erin Spencer and Kristin Cranney (Gluth), came from Missouri, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, and Tucson to spend the weekend in warm sunny AZ. We had so much fun together and it was like no time had gone by at all. We spent the weekend pampering ourselves with pedicures, shopping, working out, eating out, and catching up on old times. I think we all realized that we weren't 20 anymore...staying up until 4am every night wore us all out. I think I was sick for about a week after those all nighters! How sad!
Thanks to all the hubbies for stepping up and taking care of the kiddos for us. I feel so blessed to have such great friends in my life. 
The BYU Love Shack girls have turned out to be amazing women and mothers and I fell so blessed to have them in my life. Until next year...(maybe if the hubbies behave themselves, we will invite them sometime!)

Man, I wish I could've been part of the Love Shack house. Don't you think my world renown window escape from our basement apt. deserves some type of pedicure weekend?! Just a thought. I remember you hanging out with the twins, you would get them teeth whitening trays when they went into the MTC. :)Fun, I'm glad you guys can still find ways to get together!!
That sounds soo fun! Women just need "girl time" sometimes!! You all look just as beautiful as always! I am glad you have started this tradition!
So fun!! You still need to email that picture from the park and we so have to get together more...like once a month or something....lunch every 3rd friday or something!! The girls will have a blast!
