Last weekend TJ finally made me take down Cali's crib and set up her "big girl" bed. It was very traumatic for me, but Cali was so excited and ran around all weekend talking about how she is a big girl now. I always hate taking down the crib, because it makes me feel like I am really losing my baby! I was seriously depressed all day and even got a little teary packing up her sweet crib linens. I loved her nursery so part of me is hoping for another girl someday so I can use all her things again...TJ thinks I am jinxing us!!

It's official..she is a BIG GIRL and proud of it!
The girls love snuggling together right before bed time, which is usually followed by a couple of monkeys jumping on the bed, and then a pillow fight with Daddy. Now that Cali's bed is set up, they always run into her room to say prayers together and then they want me to "tell them about tomorrow." They like to hear the play by play of what we are going to do the next day.

...and she is out! She looks like a little TJ when she is asleep!
Cali did great the first night and then I gave her a stool to climb in and out of bed easier and she realized that she could come and go as she pleased. It always freaks me out a little when I find her wandering around the house in the middle of the night. We are working on it though...love you Cali!

oh my goodness, she needs to stop growing! i guess you'll just have to have another one. :) but seriously how cute, i love it! i really need to come by for a visit, maybe this next week...? i call you!
it looks so cute!! i can't wait to see it in person, i'm sure it looks straight out of a magazine!! it is sad when they are done with the crib, and even sadder when they won't stay in their bed at night. :)
Sweet dreams in your new big girl bed Cali!! She is so darling. Brad had so much fun with you guys this last weekend! Wish I could have been there too! He really enjoyed your sweet little girls! Such a big change from all the BOYS around here!!
Aw - it even put a tear in my eye to see you took down Cali's crib. :( She was so excited to show me her room though and her "big girl bed." Her room looks so cute - just perfect for Miss Cali.
